Some of our customers have been using our garage for over 30 years and over 95% of our customers have come to us through personal recommendation. Essex County Council Trading Standards have checked us out too and awarded us the prestigious ‘Buy with Confidence’ accreditation.

This accreditation means that we have joined an exclusive group of Approved Traders.  The ‘Buy with Confidence’ scheme gives the most practical help to every vehicle owner in the county:  trust that the tradesperson has been vetted and peace of mind that the work will be done to a high standard at a fair price.

There are over 150 businesses across Essex approved under this scheme, but John Austin is one of only four garages in the Colchester area, offering vehicle repairs, servicing and MOTs, with this accreditation.
